From 28.Jun. (Sat), KOHORO Futakotamagawa will open a solo exhibition by Takuji Hayashi, who makes ceramics in Okayama Prefecture.
This will be his second exhibition in four years, since 2021.
Among the old ceramics and antiques that have influenced Hayashi, he is particularly fascinated by the old pottery of his birthplace, Seto.
He continues to create pieces that maintain the atmosphere of old pottery and accompany daily life as everyday vessels.
Hayashi uses both a mould and a potter's wheel in her work.
Thinking about the various shapes, expressions and combinations is part of the fun.
